Five-Week Triathlon Training Program


Are you ready to take on a triathlon? Come join this exclusive training group as we train to complete a sprint distance event. This is a five-week triathlon training program starting the first week of August and ending September 5. The group will be training for the Sprint Distance Triathlon (approx. 350 yard swim, 12 mile bike ride and 3.2 mile run) and will include 2-3 coach guided group workouts per week plus additional workouts given for you to do on your own. You might be surprised at how much fun triathlon training can be. Enjoy the camaraderie of group training while making new friends and getting in great shape. If you are new to triathlons, or want to improve your performance, this group is for you. All aspects of the triathlon will be covered; including nutrition, transitions, racing strategies, swim technique, structured workouts, cycling, and running. Limited spots. No Sunday workouts will be given or supported. The registration deadline is Monday August 1, 2011.A Northern Utah Triathlete membership is required to participate.
