Note: No cost for those registered for the Handcart Days Races on July 23rd (South Davis Recreation Center) – must show proof of registration.

CLINIC DESCRIPTION:

Have you ever watched a race broadcast on television and marveled at the effortless grace of a professional runner striding out sub-five-minute miles, as if they were out for an easy jog in the park? Contrast this to the general masses seen pounding out miles struggling to stay in shape. Do you ever wonder how it seems so effortless for these runners? Proper body mechanics is the key and can help prevent common injuries such as shinsplints, chondramalacia (knee pain), IT Band syndrome, Plantar Fascitis, and Tendonitis.

Come learn how proper running mechanics and form technique can make you a faster, stronger and a more efficient runner with less effort. Learning how to run smother, faster and staying healthy can be easier than you think and Lora Erickson aka Blonde Runner is here to help. As a professional USATF certified running coach with over 25 years of running experience, Lora knows how to analyze your running form, gait, foot strike and technique to determine appropriate drills and workouts that will help you improve and reach your potential.
